Living Expenses - Utilities

Hello,

I'm new to this site. I'm currently looking at the posibility of transferring from Australia to Chongqing for work.

Just trying to get my head around the living expenses. How much roughly would I be looking at to rent a furnished apartment in Chongqing? About how much are bills - water, electricity, gas per month? Or would anyone know of a website or company who would be able to help me with this information?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Tobias

a 200 square meters room one month rental is about 2600-3000rmb (414-478AUD) medium furnished

but normally good estate sources are in agency's hand. the agency fee is equivalent to one month rental. but the agency do offer us some convenience and efficiency....

water, electricity, gas are not that expensive, usually within 500rmb (80AUD)( all in )per month.
